How Fritidskortet works for parents and guardians
If you are the parent or guardian of a child aged 8–16, you can use Fritidskortet to pay for your child’s leisure activities. You must make the payment using the digital service. Your child cannot make the payment themselves.
Fritidskortet can be used with registered associations and arts schools
In order to pay with Fritidskortet, the association offering the activity must be registered with Fritidskortet.
You must register your child for the activity
You register your child for the leisure activity directly with the sports club, outdoor recreation organisation, arts school or other organisation offering activities for children and young people.
Each child will get a fixed amount every year
Every child aged 8–16 is entitled to a fixed annual amount that you can use to pay for leisure activities for your child. The basic annual amount is SEK 500. Households that received housing allowance last year are entitled to SEK 2,000 per child.
It is not possible to save or carry over unused funds to the next year.
What activities can you pay for with Fritidskortet?
